I tried really hard to like this show. I’m intrigued by the urban hunting, but those dudes are way too over the top to keep my interest.

Same here. Hunting out of a child’s play set just doesn’t intrigue me.

If you think they are just going out and hopping up in a swing set and consistently killing 180” + deer, you are greatly mistaken. Those guys put in more time and effort than most and are good at what they do.

I have done the urban hunting many times it brings its own nuances and problems, but you can kill some legit giants in hiding those little honey holes.

I didn't take the time to watch the whole video just flipped thru parts of it. Who is the local guy that's put him on that deer? Some kind of outfitter? Sure, I can go pay some outfitter guy with all the local knowledge I need to go kill these deer. The guys were in town a total of what, 3 days?? They ain't putting too much time in.

Yep they're putting in the time scouting alright. I think they've got about 20 cell cams they put out and pattern the deer they give goofy names. Obviously they work hard at what they do, but they're kinda like the "can't hide money" hunting youtube channel. The main guy is obviously loaded from his work outside of hunting. They do get on some big deer. I'm looking forward to BJ's video, but it sucks we have to wait until September.

Awesome video, love their channel. Pretty good dudes IMO.

I enjoy hunting more than most but watching others do it is the equivalent of watching others bowl or shoot pool, does absolutely nothing for me.

Stan wouldnt ever even see a deer in Central Alabama, much less kill a good buck. Dude is a total idiot and wouldnt kill squat if he wasnt always hunting the best of the best private spots in the midwest, Canada and Texas. There's a difference between people that can find, pattern and hunt and kill trophy deer and then there are people that can just shoot one when someone else, grows the deer, does all the legwork and get's a deer in front of him. Potts is the latter of the two types as are a bunch of the tv hunters.

Idk, It’s weird for me. I actually liked Stan Potts videos. He seems like a genuine guy that just gets a little extra excited. Now, I know there’s some sensationalism/commercialism thrown in there too, but all in all, he seems like a guy I’d enjoy talking to and learning about big deer. These Seek One dudes, or the main one at least, seems like someone you’d want to punch right in the mouth or kick him right in his Salt Life-Yeti sticker after being around him for about 2 minutes. Maybe I’m wrong, and they aren’t really that way, but they sure do come across like it.

Roger Raglin was one of my favorites on how he got tore up when he killed a deer.

So then who put in all the time to put this guy on the deer? Did this guy move to Birmingham for an extended period of time to put in all this scouting work? Or did your very own suburban bow hunter that currently holds the Alabama state record archery kill do that part for them??

I've talked with Stan and talked to several of his closest friends, he's the real deal. He got to where he's at because he could kill big deer before TV hunting came along. Now that he's where he's at, having the opportunity to hunt the biggest of the big comes with the territory. He's one of the nicest guys you can ask for. I can't stand the Seek one guys.
