Killed a big 7 pt we call “high and tight.” We have a lot of history with this buck and he’s been very good at dodging us until this afternoon! Blessed to be able to take him.

General 14 point G Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 7,227 In The Stack	I finally made a Hail Mary move on the big 9 I’ve been hunting and it almost paid off. Had him on camera during the daylight crossing a road on an SMZ so I took a climber and got 100 yards down the creek in the woods. At 2:50 a really nice three year old 8 came down the trail away from the food source toward the bedding area. At 4:25 three big does came up the trail headed to to the food source. They go to the road where the camera is and met the big 9 in the middle of the road. He was headed down the trail just like the 8 was but the does derailed everything. He turned and headed back up the trail with the does and my hunt and season was over. Damn cell cams are awesome and suck all at the same time lol! Anyway, I’ve passed a lot of bucks this season, over ten three year old or better waiting on this buck and I got close. I have some good intel for next year and I look forward to seeing what he turns in to.
