I remember 15 years ago buying that tungsten matrix for $12/box of 10 shells. I thought that was outrageous. I should of bought every box I could of found.

Since we are going down memory lane, the old Hevisteel (not the current garbage) that had tungsten mixed in was a devastating shell. I'd shoot geese way further than I should of with that stuff.

I might have a few boxes left somewhere for a rainy day. šŸ˜€

My friend in Green Bay used to go buy out close out sales.

Heā€™d call and ask what we wanted.

Their season would end first of November and it wasnā€™t long til the stores would try to deplete stock. Hevi-shot 10 round boxes for less than $10. We used number 7 a lot on divers since most shots were as close as 15 yards.

My Son is on Boss Shells Pro Staff. He orders 250 at a time. they come in a bag and you just load blind bag. I have not shot any yet but he loves them. He says that his A5 circa 1960 with a mod bbl is hell on the ducks using 2 3/4 #4.

I shot 3" #5's from Boss this entire season through my 20ga's. I was nothing short of impressed with its performance. I'll be doing the same next year.
