Decided to get to stand a little later. Was headed to my climber and hadn’t gone 200 yards when a buck steps in the road 50 yards from me. I dropped to a knee and dropped him right there. His left rack had 4 points and main beam was 19 inches long. His right rack was broken off. After I shot I looked back and could still see my truck. I pulled trigger at 8:05am. Back at camp drinking coffee at 8:30. Shot him with dad’s Ruger M77 .270. Been wanting to put one on the tailgate with that gun. 🙏🦌

Congrats doc, just got in the stand, members autistic son got him a nice 9pt at about 1:30 i helped cape him out. I don't think i could be more proud except his dad. I don't even care if i see one but it would be nice. Good luck fellers That’s fantastic
