Well we'd all like to know if scanning the codes reactivated the cams back to your account ? and if youve located them ?

I’d be more pissed with SPYPOINT then the thief’s. I expect a piece of sh*t democrat bast*rd to something like that, but a million dollar company to treat you like sh*t after giving them your business and paying a subscription to tell you basically they can’t do crap for you but to let the thief’s keep and use your camera that’s what would piss me off even more!!!

Are you hunting public land? I don't think you do, but I thought I'd ask. That's some crazy crap. If you've got them on private property then I'd say it's almost got to be someone who knows you. I wonder if some crook has figured out a way to ping the cameras so they can just walk to them and take them? Called spypoint again. They said the camera was deactivated from my account, and has already to activated in another account. I have to fill out a form and take it to the police department. The police department has to call SPYPOINT who will then give the police the name and the account. I am friends with the local game warden who said that if the Police department didn’t want to fool with it, he would provide a subpoena to SPYPOINT to get the info.

I was thinking that it may screw up the police getting them back. The folks speak gibber gabber at SPYPOINT, and it will probably really confuse them if I do that. If I haven’t heard from the cops in three or four days, I’ll try it and see what happens

I’m sure it someone who’s been on it snooping before at some point looking for something to steal. Both cameras were watching big feeders. It was obvious that these feeders would have cameras watching them. The property has a run down neighborhood that borders it on one side. That should give you a guess as to what type of people I’m dealing with. Methheads and Gansta thugs.

If a math head had stolded them, then I don't think they wouldn't be activated at least so soon. Unless I missed part of the story they were stolen and activated again pretty much within 12 hours? Is that correct? If they were activated by someone who bought a stolen camera that quick then the thief had a shopping list from someone with a Spypoint camera. I don't have any cellular cameras but if I bought one today it would probably take me 2-3 days to get everything together and it set up. I'm not tech savvy like you young'uns though. LOL

I hate a damn thief. Poachers are worse. And Trespassers are in that list too. Never understood why someone would want to steal something or shoot a deer so bad that it could cost them their life! Especially the shooting a deer thing! Killing deer is super easy. Why in Gods name would you somewhere you are not supposed to go to kill one??? Amazing!!!!
Sorry about your cameras
Hunting brings out the worst in people.

Update: just talked to the investigator. They caught the guy and got my cameras back. He wouldn’t tell me who it is, but said that he was going to jail for a while because of this and a lot of other stuff. He said he would get the pictures off my cameras and then return them to me by Wednesday. I just hope whatever kind of theft spree this thief was on, that it was my cameras that screwed him. I want him to sit in jail and say “man, I really shouldn’t have stole from that guy”. Congrats, glad they caught him and you are getting your cameras back!
