I don't think it will, yes, they will make more per hour, but as others have said: 1) fewer jobs from self check-out; 2) cost of living will go up; 3) they will not be getting the same training they could in the services; 4) when enrollment in the military drops, they come up with bonus checks for signing; 5) I think the hours from minimum wage jobs will dry up, they will loose benefits, because they aren't getting the 35-40 hours per week.
