It’s been really slow on Purdue Hill rd, out of Frisco City. Anybody else hunting near there?

I was not too far from u in Clarke county - I was not hunting but watched spike ad old wide 5 point chase does this evening - spike chased first then 5 showed up and chased - 5 has about same rack as he had last year - think he atleast 4

I hunted off hwy84 out of grove hill 3 years ago. Seemed like they started a little earlier than where I’m at now

Last year we didn’t start seeing much till end of January first of February

Slow around Beatrice,seeing some smaller bucks but no chasing

Any updates, No real rut action to speak of in Repton. One racked buck killed this weekend out of 12 hunters. We usually kill 2-3 MLK weekend. Seems to a little behind this year.

Saw a good buck the last 2 afternoons in Purdue Hill. Had to do a little touch up on hog traps both days. The deer yesterday was 18"+

The bucks were on their feet this morning. 6:48-7:30 I saw three. A spike, a 6 and what looked like a young 8 point. Just tooling around.

I’m in Conecuh County near I65 and the deer where starting to roam.. saw 9 bucks cruising/chasing between yesterday afternoon and this mornings hunt

Three bucks seen this morning, a six point was missed,and two bucks with only one side of their rack seen in two totally different places. One of them was chasing a doe all over the place. Hope this holds out until next weekend.
