Quick Tip-I'm about to retire and hang up a regular job. If I had it all to do over I would buy every piece of land I caould get my hands on, even if I couldnt afford it. We have had great success with "country" land that is now in such high demand. I put away for years in 401 accounts, etc and I dont know if they are going to be there when I get ready to pull the plugs on them. We are now getting alot of folks from Nashville that are buying 5 acre tracts of land and they dont ask about what it will cost them. They want out of the cities and into the country. I dont know if they could survive in the country, living off the land, but they are wanting to give it a try.

Forget the stocks and buy the land. It will be here 100 years from now. I promise you this. This will be the most solid investment you will ever make.

. Bitcoin is just out of sight, I still don't understand this currency. It is almost like someone is about to pull a string on this stuff. You cannot go into the stock market and look at companies you don't like, you are trying to make money = Apple, Facebook, twitter, google, etc. we may not agree with their politics, but they are making money.

. Very good insight, all these part time players doing day trading, goo luck with that. Diversify, diversify, diversify, put some in stocks, stocks that pay a dividend, mutual funds, silver/gold, and try to get some into the Asian markets.

. We are living in a bubble, you have that correct too. Be ready to buy when everyone else sells. I know that is an old cliche, but look at the history, we have a huge downturn, then it goes back up, another old cliche "buy low, sell high." It is the same as land. The stock market is way over inflated, if you are afraid to loose money in the next 2-4 years, the market may not be where you want to put your money.

37 years ago, I graduated from college. My starting salary was more than I had ever previously made and I opened up my first 401k. I put 100% of my money into small cap funds, a high risk/high reward category. I knew I had 40 years ahead of me and gambled. It has paid off very well.

Bitcoin is starting to dive. If you have that, I'd think about selling last week.

I don’t see how folks live and die by these daily swings. Put it in and forget about it.

I am a buy low cost index funds guy. Buy as much as you can afford each month and don’t worry to much about it if you are still more than 5 years from retirement. Low cost index funds will outperformed most professionals traders over a 10 year period.

I’m retired. Day trading is a hobby. Bank pays .5 %. I’m pretty sure I can make more than that in the market. I’m not playing with retirement funds.

My growth plays are AYX, BIGC, MGNI, OPEN, PLTR, FVRR, MU, STM, PSTG

My Dividend plays are BIP, STOR, KO

The Genomics sector is about to fly: NTLA, EDIT, CRSP, NVTA

If you are looking to buy a one size fits all ETF, then my recommendation is ARKK or ARKW. Cathie Wood is an absolute genius and you will have exposure to the best in breeds of all the top sectors.

Look at some cannabis related stocks. With the dems going in they always go up. One of mine is up 162% from march.
