I also caught my first dog - my traps are about 400-500 yards from a black neighborhood- but I almost never see dogs - few times in camera a year maybe in road. Was not as bad as I thought - dog was a young pit bull and he was scared - I let him loose and had to shew him a way - glad it was not a mean dog and glad It was not hurt
