No for me and my family. I do think with the administration coming in we could see requirements for it in order to do certain things, what things who knows at this point. We know they want to control us and they see this as a fine opportunity. There was an article on WHNT that said Ivey had approved a vaccine registration program. Its sad to see what our nation is headed to.

Got my first dose last Friday. Next one is scheduled for Jan 29. No issues. They make you stay in a large auditorium for 15 minutes afterwards. Not one person showed any side effects while I was in there. In fact, of all the hospital employees that have received their first dose, we have had zero reported issues with the vaccine.

Its gonna come down to, in some professions, take it or leave. In my Wife's case, in a medical field, the practice owner's sent out a memo Friday saying that if you do not take the vaccine and catch the virus, you will not be paid and cannot collect unemployment. She can fight the unemployment and probably win with the state. What she (we) cannot stand to loose is 24 years for one practice (2 different owners), retirement and pretty good pay. She and one other lady is a hold out for now out of 40+ employees.

I have not yet decided what we will do. One thing I'm wondering is how many of the "I'm not going to take it" crowd have ever hated on the anti-vax community from the last few (pre-covid) years.

I had the second shot on Friday. Friday night/Saturday morning sucked, I had chills/shakes, headache, sore/stiff muscles in neck/back. Very common with the second exposure. The people that actually had Covid, had same symptoms after first shot and worse with second shot..

I just got my first this morning.

For those of yall who have taken the vaccine, is this a one time vaccination, or do you take it seasonal like the flu shots?
