Many, many years ago, I hunted down in Dallas Co and there was a dirt road that led back up to our lease. On the way, there was a beaver pond on the side of the road. We had been seeing several pieces of equipment siting there for several weeks. One day we drove in and apparently someone tried to drive the track hoe across the pond. The only thing you could see sticking up out of the water was the knuckle in the arm. It sat there the rest of the season. I guess they got it out during the summer because the next season, it was gone.
