I have had good luck with a grim reaper fatal steel and there pro series I think there 1 5/8 cut. They fly good and the do a good job killing with the right equipment. I sent one through a fullgrowed midwest doe shoulder last year and broke off one blade. My only complaint with them is there not as sharp as they could or should be out of the package so I do a lil work to mine before I take them huntin. There a good company and made in the usa is a bonus

1 3/4” xtra cut Razor Tips Or 2” whitetail special if your bow will push it..... I have tried around 20 different Broadheads on deer, but nothing I have shot gives me the results I have had out of Grim-reaper heads. I currently shoot Grimreaper extra cut 1 3/4” only because my bow want push the next size up.

I have used them and think quite highly of them. I used the 1 3/8 inch razor tips. Good combination of penetration and size of wound channel. Might be a little lucky in saying this but I have watched every deer I shot with a Grim Reaper drop in sight of my tree.

I've had the same experience as Todd, dropping within sight.
I shoot the 2". I really like the fact they are Made in the USA

I was shooting 125g in the swhacker and not paying must attention to the size difference, I got the 125g 1 3/8 razor tip. I was skeptical with the size difference at first but my bow shot the practice head close to the field points. I’m going to get a pack of the 100g Pro cut and see if it will tighten it closer to the field points. They are kindly bulky so I think the 100g will preform the same.

Might be a little lucky in saying this but I have watched every deer I shot with a Grim Reaper drop in sight of my tree. His experiences were the same. I think the furtherest was 35 yards and it was not the ideal shot. I was tremendously impressed with the wound channel and blood trail.

II can't contribute to this post but I'm liking what's being said. I bought grim reapers at the same time I bought my crossbow and haven't shot a dang thing with either of them so far I'm an old trad bowhunter that thought I'd make hunting a little easier on myself by going with a crossbow but I can't stand to carry the damn thing in the woods. It has to be the most awkward thing I've ever done while trying to hunt.

Killed 17 deer with a grim reaper and never had one run more than 60-70 yards. The only issue I had is I rarely had an exit hole. I tried both the 2” and 1 3/4” cut. I switched to Ram Cat and they will blow thru anything. They still don’t leave a blood trail like those grim reapers. That is interesting. Do you have an idea of the reasoning behind not getting an exit hole? Was it getting clogged, or were you getting a complete pass through?

Grim reapers along with any over the top opening mechanical broadhead use a lot of energy to open. You got be a lil better on your arrow build to get it drive all the way through. I'm not on the super heavy super high foc bandwagon. But a total arrow weight of 425-450 gr and around 13-16% foc out of a 70lb bow with any kinda decent draw length will get a pass through. Asking as you stay away from heavy bone.the bigger the cut diameter the more energy it takes to get through there

I got a wild hair and after shooting traditional for 10 plus years wanted to try a compound again for a while to change things up. I hunted with a compound 2015 and 2016 and used the 1 3/8" grim reaper. It did well on the 3 deer I took with the compound. I went back to traditional after those seasons, and use the Wensel Woodsmen.

They definitely a deadly broad head I just concerned me that I never got an exit. I will say that most of the time I shoot for the shoulder.
