Annie Lennox is up there

She's a strange soul but she definately has one of the best singing voices of all times.

My personal tastes in music run a little harder but for just pure beautiful pop singer voices I'd list Sarah McLachlan, Enya, Karen Carpenter.

Distinctive voices. Stevie Nicks, Aretha Franklin.

Classical Singers Edda Dell’Orso. Famous Italian high tenor. Best known to Americans (even though most don't know her name) because she sang the background vocals in The Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone from The Good the Bad and the Ugly. If there be angels and they sing this is what it would sound like.

The best index to a person’s character is (a) how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and (b) how he treats people who can’t fight back.
