You know the funny or not so funny thing I guess about all of this data is that above all else what they really need is “trending data”…….Which in essence means that they just hit the reset button when they started making the processors record the hunter’s number and sich…….Just like Matt said…..”The numbers are WAY different than they were last year”……..Participation has changed but it tells us nothing really about the deer until we create a new trend line…..correct? Which means that as long as they continue to tinker with participation and never let it remain a “constant” then we’ll still be hitting the reset until we get to some place where they are happy and then let it ride for a while. Number of dead deer just tells you how many dead deer you have, tells nothing of the remaining deer herd. Only gives a piece of the puzzle.
