If any congestion starts get a Dr. that will put her on an antibiotic. Real risk is the secondary infections like pneumonia.

The reason ZPack works so well is because in addition to being a respiratory/sinus antibiotic, it has shown antiviral properties

The reason as many people have died as have died (not counting the nursing home deaths caused by Democrat governors in New England)(80,000) is that people wait too long at home to get treatment and then show up to the hospital half dead. It is a scandal.

There should be better outpatient treatment with a lot more then over the counter vitamins.
It is really a huge huge scandal the way the entire medicall system has failed Covid patients with poor outpatient treatment - and the fault lies squarely on the feet of the National Institute for Health, the FDA and the CDC and Dr. Fauci, as well as the many state "health officers" around the country.

My mom went to the hospital 2x and they sent her home. Then 2 days later I had to call and ambulance to come get her because she was essentially unresponsive and had to spend the next 12 days in the ICU. Never even got a call to see how she was. 1st visit told her to take mucinex and second gave her an oral antibiotic because she had developed pneumonia. Would have been nice if they could have cultured it to see if what they were prescribing would work.

So, I know what you are saying.

I should have also said that plain Tylenol helped me feel a little better just by simply cutting my fever.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Day 10 here. Still completely wiped out feeling. Still have not had any fever. Hasn't been over 98.0 at any time. It's crazy that this virus can present itself in so many different ways in different people. I have had very few of the most common symptoms. Everyone in my house has the same symptoms.

Steroid shot, Z pack, Vit D3, Pepcid, Zinc, Acetaminophen, helped us tremendously. We were sick, but not as bad as others I know.

I looked online and found nothing except anecdotal evidence. Seems to be one of those, it could help in certain cases but we don't know why so go ahead and take it things.....

Do not take the cough syrup it will exponentially increase her risk for pneumonia. The actual steroid recommended is dexamethazone 6mg. Abx of choice is azithromycin or doxycycline if allergy. Vitamin c, vitamin d3 and zinc. Beware zinc can cause vomiting. My research also has shown, as far as the Pepcid goes, that the generic is only what works...famotidine. Get the generic

Gotcha

It reduces inflammation and reduces the cytokine storm which transitions into multi organ failure

1 month later and I still get exhausted easily. Had chills just like having flu but never
ran a fever. I worked from computer while laying in bed. Wife was in bed 10 days other than to get up and go to bathroom.
Kids Just had a cough, sore throat and fatigue for about 3 days.
