Great climber. Custom ordered, 450 lb. capacity. Strongest and safest tree stand I've ever owned. I know what quality is because I have broke many over my lifetime. I'm 6'6 tall and weigh in the neighborhood of 370lbs. I have weighed over 400. So, it's been tested and then some. Also, has plenty of platform room. I wear a size 16 rubber Lacrosse boot and it accomodates me just fine. For Trade only....What you got?

UPDATE: The ad plainly states for trade only but the community wants a Price attached. Well since it was over $500 special order over 16 years ago and considering they don't make them like it anymore and I can't replace it for that let's just say $700 trade value OBO....Best Offer, Now what you got?

Post some pics or a link? And if your not going to put a price at least put the trade value or what it is your looking to trade for.

Like ThreadKiller and I just discussed over the phone and by PM. The tree stand was one of 3 special ordered 16 years ago. The owner of the company passed away and from what I heard his sons closed the business. Anyway I have them down south on one of my leases. They are locked on for now. I'll be going down in a couple of weeks and will get some pics. They are second to none in terms of strength and safety. Only a Big Man knows how to appreciate a well built climber. The average joes of the woods have never experienced having em literally fold up under you. It's a feeling that you will never forget. I said that to say this...If you are a Bigun and in the market for one then I encourage you to look around and price this chinese junk. Then see what you may be willing to offer in a trade for one that has been proven for over 16 years. Thanks for your interest.

What he was trying to tell you sleepy is that the classified rules state you have to give a cash price, or what you want in trade.

Thanks Turkey Joe, but being a newb on this platform I didn't want to come across as one who was trying to tell a six year veteran what the rules were. Although I did appreciate his interest i felt it necessary to educate him on the most important thing that most of us hunters often forget and that is Safety. Take it from an Ole Timer, Safety First Always. Never Budget when it comes to Safety. This china made crap at the least will get you very hurt if not permanently dead....God Bless.

Oh, by the way, when one says "what you got?" that means just what it says. By saying that you have informed everyone that they may offer what they wish and that you the seller will choose whatever catches his eye. Why would you want to be limited in what you have to trade if the seller is open to what catches his eye? Thanks.

We understand what you’re trying to say but the Guvner has a set of rules listed we all operate by. I don’t have a dog in this hunt just trying to help.

Hey BCLC, thanks for the reply....
Rule #8: put a cash price OR what you are willing to trade for in the post.

Let's see: Can't put a cash price because it states "trade only" in my ad.
OR what you are willing to trade for?

Well the ad plainly states that I am willing to trade for most anything by stating "what you got?" Meaning like alot of the other ads on here that states "whatever catches my eye". Now, I could put just for discussion sake say $1,000 obo meaning I'm totally negotiable, Right? What did that accomplish? The ad says it all clearly and fairly for everyone. For Trade Only and as far a what I'm willing to trade for? Well there could be 100's of things....So, again...Make your offer and whatever catches my eye as the other advertisers say. Thanks.

Hey Sweet t, Thanks for the reply. That's a good question and one that I would be afraid to guess. I've shoulder harnessed them for hundreds of miles through the N. Al. mountains with no complaints for over 16 years. Back in the day we didn't ride atv's and carts. We walked in order not to scare our game and some of us Ole Timers like myself still do. We only use the wheelers to get one back to camp after the harvest. Anyway, if you're a Super Heavyweight then you shouldn't have any problems with the weight. I pack it with a full backpack, 300 weatherby magnum, a Ruger .454 Casull w/ a 7 1/2 in. barrel on a cross chest holster, with a full SS Stanley thermos full of coffee and a full GI Canteen of water in full camo gear and Lacrosse Rubbers. So, I think you would be fine.

This ad won’t last long. There were 2 simple questions asked and haven’t been able to answer either. Weight guess? A value guess? Nobody is going to offer you anything when they don’t have a clue what the value may be. With that being said I hope you get what you want for it. Sounds like a solid stand.

Hey superSpike, Thanks for your concern but they were both answered with great detail and honesty. Lets see, you seem to want a guess answer on both. I don't like to guess but here goes....Since I stated that it was locked on a tree a couple hours away and the company that I special ordered it from over 16 years ago is out of business because of the owners death there is no way for me to call and get that weight right out to you. But you want a guess, ah...uh....??? How about 100lbs. more or less, yeah that a work. Now, considering myself and 2 former Atlanta Falcon lineman special ordered these to our specs back over 16 years ago we were more than happy to pay right at $500 a piece for them excluding shipping and handling and that was with myself ordering 3 of the 5 for a multi unit discount. Now I was willing to offer someone a very fair trade deal on one of them but considering all of this "silly banter" back and forth which is very time consuming and we know that time is money....Right! Then I might just have to change my mind and add time and inflation to my 16 year old cost and charge someone $1,000 trade value. There's you a number! I'll have to ponder on that since you brought it to my attention. Much Thanks, and God Bless.
