LEO told me that when he left me yesterday they found their car pulled off the highway and basically hidden from view. They ran the plates and they came back not matching the vehicle they were on. He told me the plates had been switched and he left him his business card with a hand written note informing him of several things the runaway digger needed to do. B Don't know about AL but in FL attaching a tag not assigned to a vehicle is a second degree misdemeanor.

It’s not a law per say, it was just passed allowing a landowner to tag his property lines with purple paint versus a “no trespassing sign” and have the same effect. What do you mean "not a law per say"? Far as I know it is a law in the Alabama Code and is very much enforceable .

Cell cameras, call the law when you catch them. You dont even have to go out. The word will spread fast. This is similar to situation in our area.

Problem I have is it shouldn't matter the color of the paint, if you take the time to clearly mark the boundaries it should serve as notice regardless of color.
