Well no luck fella's..I tracked him for 450 yards and lost blood in a deep hollow about 200 yards from the property line. I covered the remaining property in the hollow but no deer no blood. Sick... Big thanks to Morris for offering to help track . Unfortunately I'm all out of time till late Friday evening or Saturday. Work ruins everything. In hindsight I just made a piss poor shot. Sucks to because I shot my steel plates in that same cutover and from same hill back during the summer...more than once. I had a decent shooting lane but wind was blowing so hard the sage would block my window and I believe I miss timed my shot between wind gusts. My eyes feel like beef jerkey after the last 36 hours. I had him dead to rice until he wasn't..
