I don't believe in "short range guns". A scoped 30/06 will kill just as good at 50 yards as ANY so called brush gun and it will do something that won't do....hit a deer at 300 yards. Piss on handicapping yourself. This^^^^^^! 50 yards is same as 300-400 to me. No way I'd tote a pistol caliber, don't invite trouble.
