The rapid test is only 50% accurate. You can do like Elon Musk and get 4 consecutive rapid tests and 2 will be negative and 2 will be positive. It is a worthless test.

All three in my family had it in October. The other two tested negative on the same day that I tested positive, yet we all had symptoms. They retested 2 days later and were positive.
Don't bet on these tests, trust your symptoms and use the test to help confirm or deny your suspicion.
I hope you don't get any worse. First few days I wondered if I had a cold, the next few days sucked big time.

I don't know what it is. May be Covid. Maybe not. I'm going to just stay away from everyone and get stuff to go. It just happens that I have multiple days of just office time so that works out great.
There is a nasty sinus/head cold type crud that is going around too. My son had it and tested negative 2 times for Covid. My 7 year old had something similar and tested negative. This is the time of year for the Crud/Bronchitis type stuff. I normally get it yearly around mid November to Mid December. If that is what it is....it's just normal stuff.
Should I get a non-rapid test?

I was told they are 90% accurate when the test shows you to be positive and only around 40% accuracy when you test negative.

All I can say is 2020. I went to doc in box a few months as I use them as my primary doc. Asked about the antibodies test and accuracy. The CRNP which works with a Covid doc said. Flip a coin and you will get the same chance of accuracy. I kept my copay. If you really want to know do the nasal swab in a day or 2. Still not 100% Hope you and yours stay well

Lady rubbed my brain with the nasal swabs today. didn't know a swab could go that far up my nostrils. Glad she ins't a colonoscopy tech...she'd need to take me out for drinks after....or before...or both.

Hope yall fully recover and get your taste and smell back before Thanksgiving. Be rough to miss out on enjoying all that good food. Maybe lose sense of smell again for a day or so after all those deviled eggs

Loss of smell and taste were the only symptoms my granddaughter had. No fever or anything else. She tested positive. It took a while for the smell and taste to start coming back, and she still doesn't have it back fully.
