I was just wondering how many positive tests you had. Does each of these positive tests show up in the statistics for confirmed cases?

Yes, They counted every one of my 4 positive test toward the total count. I hate it. I wouldn’t have kept getting the dang test if my work didnt require a negative to return .... I did have a part in changing my employers policy though. Now you don’t have to have a negative. You can return to work after 10 days from your positive test.

Do you feel so tired and lethargic that you dont feel like doing anything? If so, I would say you got the COVID, if nothing aint tasting good and that is it, then it might just be the tobacco.

I felt fatigued for over a week after I went back to work. Like didn’t wanna do crap. I would go to work and come home and go to bed and that’s not me. I’m back to normal now.

I know several that tested positive and never lost sense of taste or smell. That had the other symptoms besides testing positive. I’m pretty sure there is no everyone reacts the same scenario as it depends on numerous factors.

That being said if one loses sense of taste and smell is a strong indicator from I’ve been told by Drs.

Sister said her sense of taste was reduced greatly and metallic which made some foods just bad. Took her several weeks to get most of it back.

You got it. My Mom lost her taste one morning and her office made her get tested. She tested positive with minor other symptoms.

I had a confirmed case back in July. I got a fresh bag of Black Rifle Coffee Blackbeard's delight that was super dark. I got up and poured a fresh brew one morning and it had ZERO taste and I couldn't smell it at all. It felt like I had a clothespin up in my sinuses and lasted about 4 days before my taste started coming back.

I feel perfectly fine other than some post nasal drip. My fall allergies have been acting up for a month. I could taste and smell supper but it did taste blander than normal. Wife makes a great breakfast casserole.

I'm tired but I'm working so much that I'm always tired...nothing abnormal other than I am on 9 straight 16 hour days with a total of 50 hours of sleep.
No fever. No cough. No body aches.

Smell too. I can no longer smell pupper poop in the house. Kinda embarrassing at times.

My son is going on 90 days with no smell or taste after getting it the second week of his freshman college year. Dr said it may never come back at this point.

I will say this, there has been a lot of people discuss the use of tobacco and alcohol and the small percentage that get it with consistent use. At first when it hit, I could point out the ones I knew that got it were not a daily user of each. But here lately it seems to be not the case because people I know that have had or have it drink and use tobacco. We all gonna get it eventually I think. So, in the mean time, I will drink my Buffalo Trace and dip my Copenhagen hoping for the best.

Taste comes back after three months or so (reduced by 1/3 +/-). Smell gone for 10 months and no sign of returning.

I’ve noticed majority of my pts when loss taste or smell have been positive. All other symptoms have been equivocal but loss of those two most telling. And in cases not total loss and many I’ve seen in follow up still have not recovered taste/smell weeks later. Good luck and get tested.

I'm getting tested in the morning for the primary reason of not accidentally infecting my father in law who I work with. Home office downstairs at his house. He's moved his office upstairs as a precaution when this mess hit in the spring but we still are around each other. I'm out in the public working daily. I try to keep my distance and sanitize things that I touch. He's 83 with numerous other health issues. We were in the same room once today but not close contact.

Skip the test and avoid other people at all costs. You've got the covid and will be immune in time, now your goal should be to not let the virus use you and spread it around everywhere. FIL ought to get tested in a day or two though since he is high risk. And you should call that burger joint and let them know that the cashiers working that day should probably be tested, too.

Go about your routine as usual. I know people who live in the same house with covid and never got it.
The only reason you should change your routine is if you feel too bad to go about your normal routine.
