Fur, we will be heading your way first round.
And they look tough, 7th in the state in scoring and 5th in state in defense I went again last night and watched them throttle Albertville. Guntersville is as well balanced a team as I've ever seen. There are no stand out players because they're all good. Their biggest weakness is that they've not been tested in a game all year. They've literally only had to play one half of football in every game. The best of my recollection they've only trailed in one game this year and that was the first drive of the Fairview game when Fairview scored on their first drive. Guntersville finished the season 10-0 and outscored their opponents 500-79. They were up on Albertville 54-0 at half and that ended up being the final score. They will probably get rolled once they get out of northeast Alabama in the playoffs...like North Jackson used to do.
