Selling my Xpress. This is a 2008 hull with a 2007 motor. I bought this boat from a guy in Texas. Motor had 115 hrs on it when I got it. It has 280 hrs on it now. This boat has been used. It has a number of dings and scratches on it as I tend to fish very shallow and in very tight places. The boat is an upper 70’s low 80’s boat. 76 MPH is as fast as I’ve ever had it. The 200 pushes this light boat around and you REALLY have to drive it above 60 MPH. I very rarely got it above 60. The boat fishes very well and rides pretty good for its weight.
The good:
*Recently serviced (plugs, water pump, fuel filter, lower unit seals, new hub, new prop, foot oil changed, new bilge pump)
*Three new trailer tires
*New trailer axel
*New hub/bearings
*Helix 9 at the console
*Motorguide Tour Digital 82 lb
*Lighted storage and livewell
*Recirculation system for livewell
*Hot foot
*On board three bank Hummingbird charger
*Under lid tackle organizer (hang baits from it or use shower curtain rings to hang plastics)
*New prop
*Comes with a case of Yamaha oil, a four bladed Mercury prop, and a spare hub
*Garage kept
The bad:
*Blew a tire on one side. It took out the fender. Replaced the bad axel and had a fab shop weld new fenders on. New fenders are diamond plate and don’t 100% match the other side.
*Batteries are good, but will need to be replaced soon depending on your usage. I ran them for three straight days recently and never had a problem, but they are close.
*Center storage compartment is leaking. Thought it might have been the recessed trolling motor petal, but not sure. It’s not awful, but when it rains, the bottom gets damp.
*Spare tire doesn’t have the custom rims like the regular trailer tires. When the axel failed and tire blew, it messed up that rim. Just went with standard metal wheel.
*No front electronics unit. I took the Helix 9 off the front for my other boat project. Also, existing unit doesn’t come with any of the map cards as I will need them for my computer other boat.
I’ve got another project boat I’m messing around with and will be buying a new boat soon. I hate getting rid of this one as it has been a great boat. This would be a great boat for a Coosa or Warrior fisherman. I got a great deal on the boat when I bought it. Asking $13,500 for it.
