I have Newer version of the Matthews drop away arrow rest. It will not go down when I release The lever. Does anyone know what I need To do to get it to release. It has the black button on top.

You know, I realized mine does the same thing this morning. I just had to draw it and carefully let the draw down and then I was able to push it down after.

This is not good timing! Sounds like it has malfunctioned inside and even if you get it to release, it will be in the back of your mind every time you hit the release trigger. Will it drop when you shoot it? My QAD you pull the prongs back with your finger and release it and it falls down just like being shot.

I took mine off and put a whisker biscuit on instead. Much more reliable imo
