AC the best tip I can give you for on the ground bow hunting is to get an ASAT leafy suit. Deer will literally walk right by you if the wind is right. I had 4 does mill around for 10 minutes about 20 feet from me, then they passed by within 6 feet of me while wearing mine a few years. It was if they were looking through me.
