That sounds absolutely horrible.

Agreed.

I'll throw a few thoughts of mine in.

Original Dreamland, back in the day, when Big Daddy Bishop sat and sweated over the pit, was some fine rib eating. Haven't been back there in a long time. The franchise location in Northport is the only one of the franchises that I have eaten at. They ought to be ashamed for even having the letters "BBQ" on the menu. That place is at the very bottom of the "worst" list in my opinion.

Had a buddy recommend BBG in Decatur one time. If he already didn't have a bad knee I'd kick him in his knee. Nothing special about it to me. Near the bottom of list.

I've had some good ribs from Sam's Smokehouse in Fayette. Occasionally, I eat at Thomas/Woodrow's BBQ in Northport, which is pretty decent. Chain restaurant BBQ for me that is okay would be Full Moon. I did say okay and not great. Renee Robertson fixes some pretty decent BBQ.

I've passed by the Jim's place on 82 many times and have thought about stopping there but never have. Are they open on weekends and at night?
