Chucks barbecue in Opelika is fine, not great. Golden Rule is terrible as is Hancocks in Selma and Byron's in Auburn(Byron's breakfast is good). i will say Dreamland ribs are the worst ribs I have ever had unless you like dry and tough. I had them at the original dreamland very disappointing. Butcher Paper in Opelika is very good. Fourteenth St. Barbecue in Phenix City used to be very good(I haven't been in years). I like Mike and Ed's in Auburn. The barbecue house in Auburn was great but they sold a few years ago and now it's a parking lot. Best is hard to say for sure. There are so many good ones. I pretty much listed all the bad ones I've been too.
