Deer hunting quit being fun when it became all about killing mature bucks that score such and such. That is ultimately what is driving game check and all this other bull crap. People think if other hunters just did their part they could kill 200” deer every year.
I say lets go back to running dogs, brown is down, and everybody has a good time. I still don't like running dogs. But I sure do miss the simpler times when you could just go hunting and enjoy it.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Not taking up for the radical trash nowaday, but this crap just gets old to the point of being pissed off. I'm not destroying property, and try to follow the rules. Why play by the rules when they continue to change and just add complications to what once was a source of recreation? I know Chuck is just following the leader, which ever state that is. But dammitt, Sykes, come up with something positive that benefits the hunters. Or take your ball and go home.

Been doing that for years. Me too...ill donate money where I see fit but it won't be in the forms of where they trying to collect it...I hunt private land and go by my own management practices for what I think is the best for here.. its a hell of a lot better plan than what the game laws say is legal

What is the new regulation causing issues for processors? The incompetent cocksuckers at DCNR pushing a new rule which require the processor to verify your game check confirmation. It's clearly an unfunded state mandate. I can't blame the processors for rejecting the bullschit rule. Does it actually say the processor must verify your number, or they just have to record it. If it is record it all they have to do is make a spot on the paper you already fill out for you to write it down. Would be a huge difference.

I couldn't care less about spending a minute to fill out paperwork when I drop off a deer. That's NOT the issue.
An unfunded mandate which adds a burden on the processor. Requiring the to become an arm of the Game & Fish department.
Chucky is playing the long game. He's hitting us a little at a time with new rules and regulations and folks like eclipse are playing right along with him.
So you say you draw the line with tags eclipse? What are you gonna do when Chucky rolls out the tagging regulations in a couple years, cause it IS coming.

Time to start buying your own processing equipment. How about it's time for a LARGE group of WELL INFORMED hunters get in front of a TV camera and say "HELL NO!" Every 3 years of so there's a new reg passed that everybody loses their mind over until 3 months after it's implemented, they've accepted it and moved on. Is this ALWAYS gonna be the path AL hunters take? When is enough, enough? Any of y'all got the balls to support the processors and make a stand or you gonna just piss and moan while you bend over? FWIW, I hunt exclusively in TN so this don't affect me. I haven't looked into what's going on in bama, but is this not just about identical to Gamecheck in TN?

So,what exactly is the processor being asked to do? They have to record the gamecheck crap before they can take in a deer for processing. Basically forcing them to be an officer for the state.

So all they have to do is have the hunter write down the number on their order? how does that make them an "officer" of the State? Serious question?

I'll be on here pissing and moaning about it. Hell, I'll start the thread. But, if y'all figure out a way to use a tag program to hurt a private business by pulling your support of that business or letting them be the one to fight the man instead of you, I'll be right here like always, supporting business owners.

They are not required to enforce anything. They and anyone else in possession of a dead deer are required to have the #. Mr. Green jeans will be doing the enforcing in the form of tickets to those that don't follow the rule.
