Is it just me or has everyone become a HERO
All this calling people a hero for doing a common every day chore or job is really getting old
It’s like there’s an effort to make this honorable title of non effect
It’s becoming as common as people’s use of the word Friend when all they are is an acquaintance

When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself
The older I get the better I used to be

See the signs all the time in front of medical buildings. "Hero's work here". That's a big no. People with jobs work there.

Yep everybody gets a “participation trophy.” Gotta love the 80’s!...soccer moms and trophies! Now everybody is a hero.

Folks need to watch the movie Hacksaw Ridge and get a grip. It is on Tubi streaming for free. It puts things in perspective.

Sow righteousness for yourselves and reap faithful love;
break up your unplowed ground. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain. - Hosea 10:12

That one bothers me too......and I certainly don't mean any disrespect to doctors/nurses and hope it doesn't come off that way, but that's not what I would call a Hero.

Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon were heros. Bridger Walker is a hero. The police and firefighters that ran into the twin towers knowing good and well there was a good chance they weren't coming out were heros. I hate that the phrase has been cheapened.

Yep it’s been diluted for sure. Kinda like the word “racist”. Everybody that doesn’t agree with the agenda is a racist. The word doesn’t even catch my attention anymore.

Let's pick a new word and start over using it. We could start a whole new trend.
I vote "orgasm" let's all find a way to say it at least times a day in normal conversations. 👍

Brett Favre calling Colin Kaepernick a hero like Pat Tillman is the ultimate pathetic example. Pat Tillman is a true American Patriot and Hero and Favre should be hanged for Treason!! Or at the very least, whipped with a reed!

Y'all heard these social justice warriors calling themselves "combat veterans"??? That one makes my blood boil!
Which is obviously why they do it. But if I heard it in person, I would have a difficult time trying not to knock his damn head off.
