How many cigar smokers on the site? Tonight I’m having a Rocky Patel A-10, around three fingers of Wild Turkey long branch whiskey and a yellow hammer brewing Octoberfest. Pretty solid combination.

Much to my wife’s dismay. Favorites are Foundation Cigar Co Tabernacle Broadleaf and The Wise Man Maduro.

experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

Rarely though my humidor is full of Romeo y Julieta, Arturo Fuentes, H Upmann, Partagas and some Thompson cigar specials a friend gave me. I honestly just like opening the humidor to smell it. When I do light up it’s usually a Romeo y Julieta Churchill. I hear Rocky Patel are good cigars but haven’t bought any as humidor is full.

My all time favorite is a Cuban Cohiba Churchill. Used to regularly smoke Arturo Fuente 8-5-8. These days my go to is a Gurkha Park Avenue Churchill. If I'm on the tractor, I usually have stuck in my pie hole.

Me and some of my buddies on the Mountain have been buying all our cigars from Lazaro Victores lately. Usually I buy triple wraps, but this last time I bought a batch of Candela wraps. I find them better than anything from the major commercial producers.

I probably smoke about 1 -2 cigars a week. My buddies are bad influences. grin

Hard to beat vanilla black & mild. Cherry swishers every now and then to change things up

My go to is a Rocky Patel Decade Cameroon paired with Balvene 14 year Caribbean Cask.

If I’m feeling uppity I’ll dive into my Pappy (cigars and Bourbon)

Not cigars, but I really enjoy a bowl of black cavendish in my Missouri Meerschaum.

i'm a mild Connecticut guy -- La Perla Habana White's, 5 Vegas Gold & Classic, Rocky Patel Vintage 1999's, Hoyo Excalibur, Carlos Torano, Man O' War Virtue, Romeo y Julieta Reserva, and Perdomo Champagne 10th Anniversary (to name a few) ... i really like the AJ Fernandez New World's - plan to get some more of those at some point ... mostly i'm a pipe smoker, but i enjoy a good cigar from time to time ...

had a bit of an adventure w/it this summer - ended up getting a used NewAir wine chiller & converting it to a humidor (aka wineador) ... like all humidors, it was all over the map before finally settling down & maintaining proper temp/humidity readings ... i don't blast the AC in my house, so I needed something to keep the temps in check (to prevent tobacco beetles) ...

Honestly I couldn't say....My brother is a BIG TIME cigar aficionado. Always buying, selling, trading. It's a passion of his....So he comes over and I provide the firepit and cold beverages and he provides the cigars. I don't even know enough to tell the good from the bad, but I enjoy puffing away every now and then.

my last order was $7 shipping. you can set it up to ship once a week (assuming you ordered more than one thing in a week) or daily. you can't beat the prices, I get great cigars, and I think the most I ever paid for some of the best ones was $3 each.

yup; +1 on CB - it's a great way to fill up a humidor in a hurry - i personally like the FreeFall auctions & track/wait till it hits bottom & then place my bid/order ... like strikeu, most of my sticks were between $1-3 each; i also do the once a week shipping to save on those charges ...

once you really know what you like/don't like, cigarbid is a dangerous place!! wink

you should try some Lane HGL - smokingpipes.com has it in bulk, very affordable, and would be a nice side-step into cross-over Balkan/English blends for ya ... i regularly puff on HGL during the week ... i’m mostly a Carter Hall guy w/coffee in the am’s; HGL or similar blend in the pm’s

freefall is definitely my favorite. I don't know if it is psychological or what but seeing that starting price and then getting it a lot lower is the way I almost always buy..
