Thing to notice in there is that out of all the deaths, only 6% of those listed Covid as the only cause. The other 94% of deaths have additional comorbidities with the average having 2.6 additional comorbidities contributing to the death. Truth be known, and due to full autopsies not being performed in the majority of cases, it wouldn’t surprise me if 90% of the 6% actually had “unknown” or undisclosed comorbidities contributing to those deaths too. If you’re healthy and younger than 65, it’s probably not as deadly as the normal flu. If you’re older or have obvious comorbidities, you need to take every precaution you can.

What they said is, only 9,000+ that died of covid didn’t have other underlying health issues. Yeah good friend of mines MNL (54) died a few weeks ago in the hospital from the virus, and she had no major heath issues. But now her husband on the other hand, has had some serious heath issues for the past 3 or 4 years, and he only spent 2 days in the Hospital with the virus, and was able to go home and is doing good.
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Yeah, I have thought the same. When is the last time any of us have been scanned head to toe for every possible hidden health issue.

I don't want to sound unsympathetic at all. God bless that family. I do want to say however that there are a lot of people who have serious health issues that are just oblivious to it. Americans in particular consider themselves in great shape when they are in very poor shape. If you can't jog a mile or walk 5 without nearly dying, you have health issues. If you can't do 10 good sit ups and push ups ,you have health issues. Most Americans are 40 or more lbs overweight and get zero exercise other than a trip to Walmart outside their regular job. We don't think about being in bad health because the whole country is in bad health and overweight. It's become the new standard. If you don't believe it ask yourself why schools no longer test kids on any athletic ability like we were in school.

Sounds reasonable. The problem is for those with underlying symptoms, sometimes serious underlying symptoms like a gunshot to the head, often those symptoms are not being written down or documented. If an underlying symptom was present before covid and contributed to death, that symptom should be credited equally. There has definitely been a concerted effort to inflate the number of deaths, and the number infected as well.

I’ve wondered how it would affect me, but think I may have already had it.

Turkey247 there might have been alot of people who had it early on and thought it was just a cold or sinus problems. It was portrayed early on as something likely to kill you. In most cases, its not that way at all. I know my son had some kind of issues with his stomach and we were reluctant to say anything about it because everybody would automatically say "its the covid, stay away". I figure there were probably alot of people who had it and kept it to themselves. I personally know of many people who have been sick lately and kept it really quiet because they didnt want to be judged. Some of which did have the covid. They didnt lie about it or risk others health, they just stayed at home to themselves till it was over. Yep. And being "scared" is why we'll continue to see more deaths, not because of covid, but because people are to afraid to go to the Dr. for small things and then they turn into big problems.

Covid-19 might kill me tomorrow but I have spent a day fishing and another day golfing with a son that tested positive, shook hands and talked in close proximity for 15-20 minutes with someone that tested positive later that day and lived with and slept in the same bed for days with a wife that tested positive. If I caught it, I couldn’t tell it. In my experience, it ain’t the “boogeyman” they making it out to be. I think thats a fine assessment of a situation derived from first hand experiences. Thats something a fellow can trust.
