I used to fish logan about 20 years ago. I used to love throwing a suspending rattling rogue for spots. I used to catch some big spots, 4 and 5lbs. I would put in at town and country and run up the river to a marina, cant remember the name. Had a bunch of sailboats docked at the marina in 15 to 30ft of water. I would cast that jerk bait parallel to sailboat so you could work the entire length of the boat. Jerk bait was probably only diving 4 to 6ft but those big spots would nail it. And I didnt just twitch it, I would jerk the crap out of it. So you may want to give it a try. Clown rogue. red head with gold and white body Those 4 and 5 lb spots now weigh about a lb. Logan Martinbis now lake martin #2. If you can carch 10-12 lbs you are doing good Used to take 3 to 4 pound average to win on LM. What happen????
