Flathead V8, 3 on a tree, starter switch in the floor. Old farmall cubs, pop top coke bottles, pea vine hay. Wednesday morning cattle sales, real barber shops, western auto. I still got 2 glass bottle coke machines that work they were in my grandad store

Open that little skinny door and snatch out a frozen glass bottle coke. Damn that was good on a hot day.

Deposit on coke bottles that left the premises unless you brought an empty with you
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

There was no fuel economy stickers on cars and trucks. And no one gave a chit about it. And like good coffee, the gas was leaded.

Pulling cokes. Who ever had the one with the bottling plant farthest away won.

You mean back when a belt was for more than just holding pants up and a switch had nothing to do with electricity other than lightin’ your ass up

The coin mechanism doesn't work but I'm good with that.

Listening to WLS at night. Especially Friday and Saturday night when Wolfman Jack was DJ-ing the Midnight Special. GOOD times!!
There was another nighttime radio station but I can't remember it right now. Seems like it was out of Nawlens.

Getting a Marlin 39A when I was 6 years old. Had probably already shot 50,000 rounds by then so it wasn't a big deal.
Karen and Chad would try to have you in jail if you tried that today.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
