You fellows are showing your ignorance. That one is pure gold no fake I would have to look at that Turkey Tail close to be sure but from the pics it looks good. Pictures on the internet do not show the details that you need to look for. It looks to me to have a patina and no obvious hinges so I won't call it a repo without a better examination. At the same time though I wouldn't spend my money on buying it if I were a buying collector without a close examination. Too many good fakes out there these days to collect anything but personal finds.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
