What's funny about this is it took a riot and looting in the most expensive part of town to get any response from the Chief and Mayor. Not even 12 shootings in a weekend warranted a 23 minute news conference. I'll bet Nike was the first company to beat down the Mayors door this morning when they saw their building. I watched part of the news conference, and heard the same old lip service they always say when they can't keep a lid on crime. When it happens in south Chicago, it's just an expression of first amendment rights, due to the downtrodded community. When it happens to the part of Chicago that pays the bills, it's felonious criminal activity. But anyway you look at it, they can't control it, so they try to make everybody think they're going to do something.

Bulls**t. I for one am tired of seeing the country go down hill thanks to Politician's that don't give a rats a*s for anyone besides themselves.
