I cant even begin to comprehend the engineering that goes into that. Its hard enough to make the rocket take off but to make it land again.
Thats crazy.

That looked like they launched a Stanley thermos.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I was listening to one of the returning astronauts yesterday, and he was speaking about the sound of the thrusters of the SpaceX Dragon during reentry in order to keep the telemetry and orientation correct. I am amazed at the intelligence of some of our scientists and engineers.

That Elon Musk is a trip. I used to dislike him, and sort of still do. But I have to give him grudging respect for what he has accomplished. Let’s see what his next feat is. As long as it doesn’t involve my money or personal safety I’m content to sit back and watch. He's different for sure he has done things that I like...i don't think his views would line up with most of ours tho and thats fine by me as long as he don't push em like everyone else does these days
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Ben Franklin

They said the name Dragon was correct. Said it sounded like an animal and was a pretty rough ride.

Will it work in zero gravity 🤔🤔🤔 Will it have to? Mars has gravity....

I don’t think guys in their 50s like me will see a Mars landing in our lifetimes. Too many obstacles, too many dangers, too inhospitable, not enough reward. As my daddy would say, “it’s too much butter for the duck.”

I think you could see it, but only if the money flows. If a budget could be in place and not changed with each administration, then yes it can happen. The best thing that could happen, and if it did you would have seen major jumps in tech, space ships etc. would be to find something of value, other then knowledge. It would be like the gold rush from many years back. I believe we will find something, but not in my lifetime.
My understanding is SpaceX will use proceeds from Starlink to finance their Mars endeavors.
