Opelika across from Tiger Town I stayed at a hotel next to that location a couple of months ago but didn’t eat there due to no Aldeer review at that time. BTW I’m sick of Subway up here in NW Bama. But I’ll eat here before darkening the door of BroDonalds.

Ate at the new one in Spanish Fort yesterday. Pretty good burger but the key lime shake was really good. Edited to add it may be in Daphne I am still getting used to living over here. It’s Spanish Fort, and it’s dang good, there’s just not enough parking to get in there and eat.

Is Irishguy approved.
I'm not much on fast food restaurants. There are only a very few that I will even eat in... period, but for some reason I like Freddy's. I like the thin crispy burgers stacked on the bun, and I like the thin crispy little fries. I've been in there about 3 times now and I like it.
I haven't had any of their frozen treats yet. I'm trying to maintain...
Now I'm about to go grab a sandwich at Subway, because it about the only place that seems to be open on a Monday night within walking distance of my hotel in downtown Mobile. Veet's Place in downtown Mobile has a killer burger.

What is the crispy edge around the burger? I can’t figure it out but it’s what makes it to me. the crispy edge is from frying the burger in oil...bacon oil is best!!! if you watch the guy working the flat top or cast iron skillet, they're constantly spooning the grease over the burger. the edges are the thinnest and the crags help make it crispy (little pieces sticking out when smashed instead of a uniform edge)
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....
