at 16 years old any pocket knife will be lost in a year. I would probably go with a cheap buck light with clip and a kabar skinner fixed blade for hunting. aint much better than the skinner model 1233, and they sell for about $35 on ebay.
I was thinking the same thing, so I prolly wouldnt spend a ton on it, Look at some Bear knives made in Jacksonville Al. I've got one I been toting for over 30yrs now....They make a fine knife for the money...02
