Went there in June. This is my opinion and my bride to be’s opinion on the place. It’s a fun spot to stay about 2 days. We enjoyed it but it was overpriced for what it is. Tons of left coast liberals running around there during this season. It’s Gatlinburg of the west. I’d advise going to stay in Montana and go trek to the national parks from there. The food was average , the hotels were alright but not outstanding. If you can find a place around Ennis Montana, north west of Yellowstone, you’ll be in the best fishing/rafting you can dream of. I caught the biggest trout Ive ever even thought of on the Madison River. Even the “small” fish were above and beyond what we catch around the Blue Ridge. All depends on what you enjoy but Jackson Hole just wasn’t all that to us. If you have kids, that may change things. There is a good bit for the young ones there.
