THIS is the info that I was hoping to find. Now, is each new positive reported as a bonafide new case? Or is it reported as an ongoing positive condition of an existing patient?


Unfortunately, because the hospital receives government payment for patients testing positive for Covid, there's not a lot of incentive to retest very often. I've heard that some hospitals only do a retest after about 14 days.
