That is truly biting the hand that feeds you. Ford has 65% of the police vehicle market and wants to cut off the funding that provides the funds to buy their products. That is brain dead stupid Again, “Defunding police” has nothing to do with the vehicle budget. Common misconception, I didn’t understand myself until it was explained to me by someone in law enforcement So, you're saying that cutting funding for law enforcement will not result in reducing spending on equipment for law enforcement? If you believe that I have a bridge I need to sell you I believe (and someone who knows more can correct me) it is reallocating the militarization of police departments. To the sheriffs departments, which are elected and run by the government I.e. Tuskegee Police Department doesn’t need to worry about their 2021 helicopter or SWAT tank budget More so that the money would be spent on other things within the police department (hopefully salaries to entice quality people), not necessarily less money. How I was told
