I am able to get a new phone in July. Wont be an android, not sure if I will go back to iPhone. Thisk I will get something else and just keep my music on an old iphone.

I get that, but if I can turn it on and off. Say I want to go to publix today and it shows 4 people with covid have been there this morning I would turn it off then wait til tomorrow and turn it back on and check again. That may not be the way it works but sure would be handy especially for high risk folks

it's all voluntary (at least at this point). It automatically installed as part of recent updates, but it defaults to "Off". You have to turn it on and you have to manually put in if you've tested positive.

The way this is going to work is, if your contact tracer is confirmed to be within 6 feet of someone else who has came into contact with someone with the virus you will be deemed a threat and may have to be in self quarantine for 2 weeks. I've also seen where this is another scam to up the virus numbers therefore mongering more fear into the world! So, if you just so happen to walk by somebody that potentially doesn't even have the virus who simply walked past somebody else that may not even really of had it then you could potentially be a statistic of having it! What this will all boil down to in the long run is a big push for mandatory vaccines! If you have not researched Bill Gate's vaccines and lawsuits over their effects in Africa right now and how they are hurting more people than helping or the id2020 that he is behind then please inform yourself before you ever think about taking his vaccine!

You're still missing the point. If they can use an app to track your health and transmit this information to complete strangers, what's next? An app that identifies gun owners, Christians, what else?

Nothing good can come from this technology.

I've seen that but its not installed on your phone its a setting in Google. You still need a second app installed to use it and have to enable it
its a voluntary participation thing. Its really no different than all the location and histor trackers they already have that you can turn off.
