I’ve had Lyme and RMSF. I would recommend this:
Go to the doctor but it takes a certain amount of time for either to show in your blood. Lyme shows pretty quick but RMSF can take 4 weeks to present. If you have a positive test they’ll immediately put you on a strong antibiotic (mine was Doxy) and refer you to an infectious disease doctor.
Whatever you do don’t ignore it because you’ve got the classic beginning. Tick was on for 48 hours plus, now rashes are presenting so something is going on. This... if it was attached for over 48 hours your chance of disease is much higher. If you have a doctor that's accepting call ins, give him/her a ring and explain what's going on and request a round of antibiotics - that's the very least you should do.
