This same DA is on video a few weeks back where he is charging a police officer with assault with a deadly weapon for using his taser on a suspect. He states that by GA law, a taser is considered a deadly weapon. Now in this case, he's claiming that the taser was not a deadly threat to the officer. Can't have it both ways. I think he has bungled this badly in the rush to appease the mob, he way overcharged and didn't wait for the GBI to finish their investigation.
