11k miles! only driven to the mail box? Our uncle purchased it from a farmer who only had it for 2 years and he put 2000 miles on it basically since he purchased back in '97.

That ain’t no “hunting ride” unless it was 11K miles of hell and 25 yrs of neglect.

Fun fact. There are no 1996 Jeep Wranglers. Is it 4 cylinder or 6? Auto or manual? Soft or hard top? It's the 6 cylinder with 5 speed. It's currently got the original hard top on it. It's a diamond in a silver factory.

Mine is a 03 Sahara with the Awesome 4.0 Skrate 6. Got 32's on it now. Been wanting to lift it an inch or two for years. Just haven't done it yet.
Got 200K miles on it, and I'm gonna a drive it till it dies. But it isn't showing any signs of quitting. Still runs like a Champ!
Got the hardtop off now for the Summer. And the Jeep sleeps in a Garage every night.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

If you're just wanting to do an inch or so...........I'd put 2" spacers in the front and 1 or 1.5" spacers in the rear. Cheap, levels it (more or less) and should be enough to fit 33's (they may rub at full lock and/or if you disconnect the swaybars, so if you ever go off road you might consider extending the bumpstops, but otherwise should be enough.

Thanks man. Good info. May just go that route.
