I don't have anything really cool to add. I got a piece of chert rock out of my knee when I was in my early 30's. It was from a stunt jump attempt gone bad on my Huffy bicycle when I was about 13.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

What do the aldeer doctors think of this? I was cleaning a turkey in March and let the knife slip. It hit right on the knuckle and stopped at the bone. I knew it was bad, so I immediately went in and washed it and bandaged it tight with Neosporin on it. The cut closed up quickly, but it never quit hurting. There is a hard tumor over the cut now and it hurts down into the bone. I figure something from the turkey got pushed into the cut and it's gotta come out. I've shown it to 2 doctors, but they weren't interested. Looks like I gotta do it myself. Getting home surgery advise on aldeer seems like a good idea, so thanks in advance for any technical info on how to cut out turkey feathers. Prob cut a tendon or ligament...i did once and it did that for a year or 2...i went to doctor a year later n he said i shouldve came in when it happened...

Tank I was a crew member on hit a mine on a road clearing mission in 1970. Blew my helmet off, busted my sunglasses, and my face and neck were blasted with dirt and gravel. Took forty years for all that grit and stuff to work out. I want to hear the story being your screen name............

I cut a tendon in line (split it down the middle but didn't sever it) in my left pointer and eventually went to a doc because something felt hard and I thought I had something stuck in there and I could barely bend it. A little occupational therapy where they forced that tendon to stretch back out got me back and running almost like new. But dadgum they did some things that probably ought to be illegal to my poor hand.

I’ve had a piece of pencil lead in my left palm since 8th grade in 1984. Can still see it. I guess it will be there till I die I've got a piece in my right palm that's been there since 5th grade in1988. Can sill see it as well

At least pencil lead is actually graphite and not real lead.

Got in a fight over a chick in a house trailer in Bowden Ga. in the early 80's. The trailer had the old roll-out windows & I got knocked back into one of the windows knocking it out. Fast forward 10 years my shoulder had a big knot come up, hurt so bad I could barely hit the gears in my 13 speed any more. Had a dr cut it open & found about an 1.25 x 3/8" sliver of glass had been grinding away in my right shoulder all that time. This is such a fantastically redneck story!
