Yes Sir, but I quit entering the draws and just hunt yotes, Jack rabbits, and squirrels on kabillions of acres. Much more enjoyable for me to hunt big game in states with more liberal game policies, less to think about.

I know everyone gets hung up on the big game draw but don’t discount the peace and solitude of walking around with a 22 rifle in your hands and a big bore handgun on your hip through a snowy mountain valley looking for critters. Its like being Jeremiah Johnson.

Being a squirrel hunter is like being a horse back rider, nobody cares and access is Carte blanche.

Goodluck though

I didn’t put in for anything that far west this year. But I’m working on getting a Texas trip together for my dad, my brother and me.

I'm with Loco.
I like to hunt what everybody else is NOT hunting.
Less crowds, more solitude, Wardens are not crawling all over the WMA's.
Don't think I deer hunted this past season one time.
I focused on Bobcats, Hogs, and took my son on a trip to NM for Javelina.
Thinking about NM again this year with an OTC Lion tag. Camping, roaming, calling.
Freedom, solitude.

I drew a 2nd rifle tag for mule deer in CO. Another buddy drew the same one and the other two in our group are picking up OTC elk tags.
