You're gonna encounter those skeeters anywhere in the north. I think they actually thrive in the cooler climate. Some of the worst skeeters I ever seen was around the alpine lakes in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Montana and Idaho have an incredible amount of insects. You get used to it. Still beats living here, at the gates of hell. Don't forget to mail me a Christmas card every year after you move up there! Lol! I don't like the heat and humidity either but I'll take the South any day.
