What a ton of people seem to miss is the difference in an individual person, black or white, committing a crime against another person and a police officer committing a similar crime.
And before you say more white people are killed by police, look at the circumstances of those deaths. Most are shoot outs or domestic violence situations. It isn’t just the deaths. Black young men are more likely to be stopped by the police than white men, more likely to be beaten by those police and more likely to have their rights trampled by the police.
I’m not getting this from the media. I see it on a weekly basis.
I am not endorsing the narrative. I do not see systemic white racism out there and I live in the deep south where you would think it would be visible. I know a lot of LEOs and they are not racist and looking for blacks to persecute. I know the drink is being suggested but I am not drinking it.
