The NWTF in Addison (NW Bama) is trying to get enough buyers to fill order. Round up ready soybeans is all they are getting right now and they are $17 a bag. Anyone interested reply here and will see if we can help him fill the orders. Please don't say you want some if you wont follow thru and go pick them up and pay when they come in.

Make sure you check the expiration date on them.

Seeds arent like milk Perch. They wont have an expiration date. They will however have the date that they were bagged. Most, if not all, NWTF seed in my experience and I've gotten pallets of it over the years, is generally last year's seed. It is seed that was not sold to "farmers" or end users last year and will not be sold to them this year becuase once it is aged, germination percentages can no longer be guaranteed/certified. If it is a year old or older, you'll need to just plant at a higher per acreseeding rate to achieve the same/expected germination results for your stand due to the fact that germination will drop off with age..

These are this years seed he said. Most are usually last years seed but I have had no problems using seed 2-3 years old when stored properly.

Even if stored properly, the germination % will drop with age. I agree that 2-4 yr old seed can be planted and will most definitely yield a crop, you'll just have to increase your seeding rate per acre to account for the loss in germination.
